Managed Conversion Tracking and Technical Maintenance

Keep a technical partner involved after your tracking implementation launches.

Our managed conversion tracking service combines recurring Funnel Guard monitoring with human technical oversight, supported issue investigation and reasonable maintenance of the tracking infrastructure we deliver.

For businesses and advertising agencies, this provides ongoing technical management without having to handle every agreed tracking maintenance task internally. Monitoring checks selected supported conditions; investigation and covered repairs are part of the managed service within the agreed scope.

Three Parts of Your Tracking Service

Initial Custom Implementation

Both managed-service payment options include custom tracking implementation for your first funnel. We design the configuration around your funnel, technology stack, conversion paths and business requirements, then test and validate the agreed implementation.

The architecture may include Google Tag Manager, supported server-side tracking infrastructure such as Stape, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API where appropriate. This initial configuration is distinct from the monitoring and maintenance provided after launch.

Recurring Funnel Guard Monitoring

Funnel Guard performs recurring checks of supported page availability and tracking conditions agreed for your implementation. These checks provide evidence about the specific conditions monitored, not a complete assessment of every conversion or advertising-platform process.

Human Technical Oversight and Maintenance

The managed service adds people-led technical work to the monitoring layer. We retain an understanding of the agreed architecture, investigate supported issues detected during the monitoring period, and provide reasonable maintenance and covered repairs within the agreed scope.

A monitoring result or alert is not a completed technical investigation. Standalone monitoring does not include implementation, investigation or repairs.

Google Tag Manager Maintenance Within the Agreed Architecture

Where Google Tag Manager forms part of the implementation we deliver, the managed service provides ongoing technical oversight and reasonable maintenance of that agreed configuration.

We investigate supported technical issues and maintain the existing implemented tracking within the agreed scope. The same scope boundaries apply to appropriate supported server-side components and integrations included in the originally delivered implementation.

New tracking functionality, materially different conversion-event requirements and major architecture changes are reviewed separately. Managed maintenance is not an unlimited redesign or expansion service.

Supported Monitoring, Alerts and Reports

Monitoring Supported Conditions

The monitoring scope is reviewed for your environment and agreed for your implementation. Depending on the supported configuration, checks may cover page availability, supported Google Tag Manager evidence, supported Meta browser evidence or a supported browser-side request to a configured tagging-server hostname.

A successful check establishes only the signal or condition actually monitored. It does not certify every GTM tag or trigger, conversion event, deduplication result, attribution path, form or checkout interaction. Observing browser-side tracking evidence does not establish downstream Meta CAPI delivery or advertising-platform processing and performance.

Review supported monitoring and its limitations.

Email Alerts for Confirmed Monitored Failures

Email alerts notify you when Funnel Guard detects a confirmed failure in a monitored condition. They identify a supported condition that needs attention; they do not, by themselves, establish the cause or complete a repair.

Separate Periodic Funnel Health Reports

Funnel Health Reports summarize monitoring results over the reporting period. They provide a record of the supported conditions checked and the results observed. These periodic summaries are separate from incident email alerts.

Tracking Issue Investigation and Covered Repairs

Under the managed service, we investigate supported technical issues detected during the monitoring period and provide reasonable maintenance required to keep the existing implemented tracking working as designed.

Covered repairs apply when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The problem relates to the tracking implementation we originally delivered.

  • The issue is within our control.

  • The work falls within the agreed maintenance scope.

  • The managed service is active.

Issues outside these boundaries, major expansions and substantial remediation caused by external changes are reviewed separately. Monitoring alone does not provide investigation or repairs, and the managed service does not promise that every tracking or platform issue can be resolved within the included scope.

Your Tracking Infrastructure Remains Yours

You retain ownership of the tracking infrastructure built for your business. The recurring fee pays for ongoing monitoring, technical management, maintenance and the included repair scope.

Your ownership is independent of continued subscription. Cancelling the managed service does not remove your ownership of the implementation built for you.

Choose Your Managed-Service Payment Structure

Managed Tracking Partnership

USD $450/month

12-month agreement. First funnel implementation included. No upfront implementation fee.

Our recommended option for businesses and agencies seeking custom implementation with ongoing technical management through a single monthly payment structure.

Setup + Managed Service

USD $1,500 upfront implementation fee plus USD $300/month managed service

Month-to-month managed service. The upfront fee covers implementation for the first funnel.

Both options provide the same underlying implementation quality and managed-service scope. The difference is the payment structure and commitment, not the level of service.

Compare the approved payment structures.

Additional Funnels and Separately Quoted Work

Additional funnel implementation is USD $750 when the new funnel uses the same general client infrastructure and platform stack.

A funnel is a distinct conversion journey or offer requiring its own configuration, event mappings, testing and validation. Multiple pages may belong to one funnel. There is currently no additional monthly fee per funnel under the managed-service offers.

The following are reviewed and quoted separately:

  • New platforms or CRM migrations.

  • Additional advertising platforms.

  • New tracking functionality or materially different conversion-event requirements.

  • Major changes to funnel architecture.

  • Substantial remediation caused by third-party changes, external developers or systems outside our control.

  • Third-party subscription costs, including services such as Stape.

Managed Tracking Questions

What is the difference between implementation, monitoring and managed service?

Implementation creates and validates the agreed tracking configuration. Monitoring performs recurring checks of selected supported conditions. The managed service adds human technical oversight, supported issue investigation, reasonable maintenance and covered repairs to the originally delivered implementation within the agreed scope.

Does Google Tag Manager maintenance cover every new tag or tracking request?

No. Reasonable maintenance applies to the existing implementation and agreed scope. New tracking functionality and materially different conversion-event requirements are reviewed and quoted separately.

Does a monitoring alert mean the problem has already been diagnosed or fixed?

No. An alert identifies a confirmed failure in a monitored condition. Under the managed service, investigation and covered repairs are separate technical work subject to the agreed scope and repair conditions.

Does a successful check prove that every conversion and Meta CAPI event works?

No. It establishes only the supported signal or condition checked. It does not verify every conversion, deduplication result, attribution path or downstream Meta CAPI delivery, and it does not guarantee advertising outcomes.

Are the two managed options different levels of service?

No. They provide the same underlying implementation quality and managed-service scope. The difference is the payment structure and commitment.
